Customize your reception with Signature Cocktails at Tommy Bahama in Palm Desert.
Freaky Tiki Love Potion-that is what my husband called our Signature Cocktail on our wedding day. It signified our love for everything tiki, and was packed full of rum, our liquor choice as a couple. We served the Freaky Tiki Love Potion in martini glasses that arrived at each table with dry ice creating a romantic and magical fog as the drinks were passed around the room. It was yet another way to personalize our special day.
At Tommy Bahama we are seeing more and more couples do the same thing for their Weddings, Receptions and Rehearsal Dinners. Sometimes they opt for a drink that is Tommy Bahama-esque such as our Mai Tai or Spiced Hurricane, or they will customize something representative of them as we did. Last week, I had a couple who celebrated their Rehearsal Dinner with us and were so excited that they were going to have Jalapeno Margaritas at their wedding since it is their favorite cocktail. They were equally excited when I suggested that we offer our Pineapple Jalapeno Mojito for the Rehearsal. It was well-received by all, knowing it was what the couple enjoyed.
Often times, a Signature Cocktail can not only personalize your bar options, but also help keep your bar tab at bay if that is one of the offerings along with wine and beer, rather than a full bar. Making a Signature Cocktail in larger quantities is less labor intensive, and therefore may come at a reduced price as well.
When choosing a Signature Cocktail, you may choose one that features your favorite liquor, matches your wedding colors/theme or just sounds delicious. By creating a cocktail, you can name it anything you want, tailoring it to your desires. There are many different websites that offer assistance in creating a concoction that you are sure to enjoy. You can also come to our Palm Desert location and ask one of our friendly Bartenders!
So think up, and drink up!
